Class Location — Tuesdays at 7pm
Ongoing weekly tai chi classes in downtown Greensboro, NC

Pleasant weather: Church Street Parking Deck

215 N Church St, Greensboro, NC
When the forecast is between 55°F and 85°F at 7pm and low chance of rain, we tend to meet at the very top level of the Church Street Parking Deck. If there's more than a small chance of rain, we'll meet one level down just past the cones on level 4. It may seem strange to have a tai chi class in a parking deck, but it's actually a lovely setting.

Not-So-Pleasant Weather: Greensboro Cultural Center

200 N Davie St, Greensboro, NC
If it's colder than 55°F, warmer than 85°F, very humid, or stormy, we'll meet in Room 315 of Greensboro Cultural Center. Park in the Church St Parking Deck and go out the back (opposite side from Church St). Enter the Cultural Center, take the stairs to the 3rd floor, turn left at the top then a quick right, and continue until you see the elevator on your right. Turn left (away from the elevator) and go past the benches. Studio 317 will be on the right.

You can also take the elevator to the 3rd floor in which case Studio 317 is straight ahead, just past the benches, on the right.

If you're unfamiliar with the Cultural Center, it can be hard to find. Arrive early and call us at 888-7-TAI-CHI for an escort.

Important Parking Information.

If you enter the Church Street Parking Deck before 7pm and leave after class, there is usually no charge. However, definitely keep your entry ticket just in case! If you arrive after 7pm, you may wind up paying about $3.

Tanger Performing Arts Center often has shows starting at 7:30pm on Tuesdays which can cause the Church Street Parking Deck to fill up by 6:50pm or so. Arriving early is the key to getting a spot. Also, attendants will try to collect $10 per car on Tanger nights. Simply tell the attendant that you're attending a class at the Cultural Center and they won't charge you. Parking in the Church Street Deck is always free for our students as long as you enter the deck before 7pm. Even if the machine makes you take a ticket on entry, you won't need it. The gate will lift automatically as you exit after class.
